RISE Starts Where School Ends.

 

RISE Camp is an experiential learning program designed to grow compassionate, responsible, and proactive changemakers.

We go beyond classroom knowledge — helping students transform understanding into meaningful real-world action in our camps.

For more information on the ​camp, please refer to the "Parent's Guidebook" that is available in the email sent by your child's school.

​Parents who wish to register their children are kindly asked to complete the registration form below by March 15th. Please note that registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis 

Safety at Our Camp

At RISE camp, we strive to uphold a high standard of safety protocols across all of our programs to ensure the safety of all program participants.

Below are our safety protocols and practices at RISE camp:

  • School teacher supervisors will be present from each attending school (HJIS & SIS)

  • An approximate 3:1 adult-to-student ratio will be maintained

  • First Aid Standard Training for Program Leads

  • Carrying and having first-aid kits available 24/7 on-site

  • Provide professional development sessions to all staff and counselors that will be attending, including child safeguarding training

Please note that NPO Youth For Future has experience co-hosting a camp at the same facility used for this RISE camp (Nojima Youth Center).
