In December, over 35 enthusiastic participants joined us for our very first Discovery Day, where we cheered on Yokohama F. Marinos against Nagoya Grampus in a J. League game!
Discovery Days are one of the programs within the GIP that allow the children to select a place they want to visit related to the unit they are studying, with the current unit being Identity and Diversity. With football teams in Japan having players from various countries, the children wanted to watch a football game, which we made happen with YouMeWe NPO.
These outings provide a precious chance to adapt and learn about the world beyond the children’s homes. Every experience is a chance for the children to learn about their strengths and discover new abilities.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this day unforgettable!
